Based in Broadstairs, Thanet Chamber Choir comprises approx. 30 experienced amateur singers under its professional director Greg Tassell.

Described as "One of the finest mixed voice choirs in Kent", the choir has built a reputation for giving high quality performances and sings a varied repertoire of works, ranging from the Renaissance era (Tallis, Byrd, Victoria and Palestrina) through the Baroque and Romantic periods to living composers such as Chilcott, Lauridsen, Pärt and Rutter. We give at least four concerts each year around East Kent and also perform at Cathedral services, weddings, and other special occasions.

Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings at The Vale United Reformed Church, Broadstairs.

We are an auditioned choir and there is usually a waiting list for most voice parts, but we are always keen to hear from prospective new members.
